Tickets are now available for FLOODLIGHTS at The Garage!
Floodlights are known for raw, intimate live performances, balancing restraint with powerful, rhythmic outbursts. Their evocative lyricism sits at the core of their songwriting, exploring personal turbulence, national identity and the Australian landscape with a poetic honesty that resonates far beyond home shores.
Since their sold-out 2019 EP Backyard and acclaimed debut album From a View (2020), Floodlights have grown a strong international following. They have toured extensively across Australia, the UK and Europe, supporting Pavement, black midi and Amyl and the Sniffers.
Their second album Painting of My Time (2023) marked a clear evolution, earning a finalist spot for the Australian Music Prize and cementing their reputation as a compelling live act, with sold-out tours across Australia and multiple runs through the UK and Europe, including appearances at End of the Road Festival (2023, 2025).
Their third album Underneath (2025) captures a band in motion, shaped by a period of transformation and uncertainty. The record was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize, marking back-to-back recognition following Painting of My Time, and reflects a continued expansion of their sound and reach. In support of the album, they have continued writing and developing new material alongside a run of sold-out Australian shows, including a sold-out ~2,000-cap hometown show at the Forum Melbourne in May 2025.
