Kinnship – Intenserenity
NEW ALBUM OUT 13 MAY
Kinnship: “Intenserenity was written amidst a hectic period personally and for all of us, collectively. It stumbles through and tries to make sense of the effects of it, and everything else in my life. I would drive back and forth to the studio, throwing ideas at a computer and doing it all again the next day. Yet in the monotony and solitude I also found beauty
and stillness. Whilst writing the album I became very aware of the strange relationship between intensity and serenity – one moment of peace and beauty would be abruptly replaced by an intense
situation, and vice versa. Sometimes I would find serenity in the most difficult times. It led me to exploring the concept that the two are closely interlinked, and life is made fuller by the presence of both, in whichever way they present themselves.”
Multi-instrumentalist, producer, writer and singer Kinnship creates evocative, melodic soundscapes which have touched listeners from all points of the globe. Earnest and heartfelt lyrics punctuated by layers of warm and understated yet impactful production that have resulted in millions of plays and support from worldwide radio including BBC Radio 1.
