Stones music is for the misunderstood.
Hailing form Liverpool, the post apocalyptic skally rock group are disrupting the scene right now. They came about in 2019 just before Covid as a new project, following on from a few jam sessions members Fin and Eliott had previously. As the pandemic hit they recorded a lot of music throughout, preceding their live debut when venues reopened.
Stone Band Members
- Fin Power (vocals/guitar)
- Sarah Surrage (bass)
- Elliot Gill (lead guitar)
- Alex Smith (drums)
Growing up in the digital age has morphed them into a diffusion of the limitless cultures and subcultures. They hope to capture the dizzying experience of youth culture in Liverpool. With the paradox of their own young adulthood as they navigate the limbo between youth and maturity.
Band influences range from N.W.A. to Led Zeppelin. Including a mix of alt-rock, punk and hip-hop delivered via northern truth. They also like to deliver walls of noisy guitar derived from 90s Pixies/Pumpkins-esque alt-rock and Gang Of Four-style angular post-punk. With punk, driving bass. Lyrically, Fin is influenced by numerous artists such as The Streets, Dave, Joy Division and many more.
